IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet with media at 3 p.m. (CT) Tuesday to preview her team’s Sweet 16 game against Baylor on Friday inside Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.
The No. 15 Hawkeyes are 26-7 overall, No. 6 Baylor is 32-3. The last loss for Baylor came on Feb. 28 at Iowa State, 76-71. It will be the first meeting between the Hawkeyes and Bears. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) and the game will be televised by ESPN2.
