“Holding the open practice in West Des Moines each of the past two years has been a very successful event for our program,” said head coach Kirk Ferentz. “The practice has been well received by our players and coaches, and our fans in central and western Iowa. We appreciate the assistance and cooperation we receive from everyone involved from the West Des Moines Community School District and Valley High School in making this event a success. We appreciate their willingness to work with our program again in the planning and organization of this event.”
