IOWA CITY, Iowa — University of Iowa head women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder will meet with media at 11:30 a.m. (CT) Tuesday to discuss the Hawkeyes’ Big Ten Conference Tournament opener game against Michigan on March 3.

B1G-Tournament-Logo-Vertical.jpg The briefing with local, regional and national media will be held in the Media Room inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena, and be available live from start to finish on Hawkeye All-Access, the multimedia portal inside hawkeyesports.com, the official worldwide website of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

No. 9 seed Iowa (18-12 overall, 8-10 Big Ten) and No. 8 Michigan (17-12, 9-9) tip off at 11a.m. (CT) on Thursday from Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The teams split their regular season meetings: Michigan won, 82-75, on Jan. 7 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Iowa won, 85-69, on Jan. 28 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

The Iowa-Michigan winner will play top-seeded Maryland (27-3, 16-2) on March 4 at 11 a.m.
