IOWA CITY, Iowa — Head coach Lisa Bluder and the University of Iowa women’s basketball program will host the 2016 Golf Extravaganza on June 14 at Finkbine Golf Course in Iowa City. The annual fundraising event kicks off with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. (CT).
Registration forms are currently being accepted. The $500 registration fee includes complimentary lunch and dinner, foursome photo with Bluder, participation gift, and flight and door prize opportunities. Golfers will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with current Hawkeye student-athletes and staff.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available at three levels. A `Par’ sponsorship ($175) ensures a business or supporter name is listed on signage and placed on the course. A `Birdie’ sponsorship ($550) places the name of a business or supporter on a tee box and includes an appreciation gift. An `Eagle’ sponsorship ($1,500) includes one complimentary foursome, the name of a business or supporter on the welcome banner, recognition at the event, and an appreciation gift.
