Hawkeyes Finish Weekend with Pair of Wins

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — University of Iowa men’s tennis senior Robin Haden and freshman Jason Kerst won their singles matches in the final day at the Bayliss Invitational hosted by Notre Dame.
 
Kerst went 3-1 in singles competition after his, 2-6, 7-6, 7-5, win over Henry Gordon of Penn State.
 
Haden split his four matches over the weekend when he beat Memphis’ Shakeel Manji, 6-3, 6-2.
 
Sophomore Tony Leto also played a singles match today against William Peikarsky of Indiana. The Hawkeye lost, 6-3, 6-4.
 
Haden and Kerst teamed up in a doubles match against Notre Dame’s Daniel Rayl and Guillermo Cabrera and fell, 8-3.
