In the all-around, senior Mollie Drenth led Iowa with a score of 39.175 for fourth overall. Senior Angel Metcalf followed in sixth with a 38.250.
The Hawkeyes registered their highest score of the competition on floor with season-high 49.125. Junior Lanie Snyder and freshman Clair Kaji led Iowa in the event with scores of 9.850 to tie for fourth overall. Snyder tied her career-high on floor with the performance. Sophomore Nicole Chow and Drenth followed with scores of 9.825.
Iowa posted a team score of 49.050 on uneven bars. Junior Melissa Zurawski registered the highest score for the Hawkeyes with a 9.850 to finish fourth overall. Metcalf followed closely behind in sixth place with a score of 9.825.
The Hawkeyes recorded a 48.775 on vault. Sophomore Rose Piorkowski and Drenth posted scores of 9.825 to tie for third overall. Sophomore Maria Ortiz followed with a 9.725.
The Hawkeyes closed the night on beam with a 48.775. Senior Lexi Mura led the Hawkeyes in the event with a score of 9.825 to finish third overall. Senior Savannah Borman finished closely behind in fourth place with a career-high 9.800.
The GymHawks return to action on Saturday as they host No. 21 Illinois and UIC inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena at 4:00 p.m. (CT).
