IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s basketball team will host Colorado (17-15) in Round Three of the WNIT on Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. (CT).
The Hawkeyes (19-13) advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the WNIT with a 78-73 win over South Dakota on Saturday. Sophomore Megan Gustafson had a career day, netting a career-best 33 points on 15-of-16 shooting from the field. She added 13 rebounds to tally her 17th double-double of the season.
Colorado defeated UNLV, 66-52, on March 16 in Boulder, Colorado, before downing South Dakota State, 81-75, in overtime on Sunday in Brookings, South Dakota.
