IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Athletic Department’s most exciting group, the Junior Hawk Club, is now taking applications for the 2017-18 athletic calendar year. Memberships are only $20 and are available for all youth 12 years of age and under.
All Junior Hawk Club members receive a membership pack consisting of:
- Junior Hawk Club t-shirt
- Hawkeye drawstring bag
- Official membership card and lanyard
- Special Junior Hawk Club events throughout the year
- Opportunity for exclusive autograph sessions
- Monthly E-Newsletters and activity sheets
Members will receive FREE ADMISSION to the following events:
- Men’s Basketball (non-conference games ONLY, excluding premium games)
- Women’s Basketball
- Wrestling (select matches)
- Volleyball
- Baseball
- Softball
- Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics
- Soccer
- Field Hockey
- Swimming and Diving
- Track and Field/ Cross Country
- Men’s and Women’s Golf
- Men’s and Women’s Tennis
There will also be a limited number of discount tickets for the Sept. 16 football game vs. North Texas. Additional benefits include an all-access facility tour of Kinnick Stadium for Kids’ Day at Kinnick and Carver-Hawkeye Arena (at a date to be determined), along with monthly E-newsletters.
The University of Iowa football team will host its annual “Kids’ Day at Kinnick,” on Saturday, Aug. 12. Junior Hawk members who sign up before Kids’ Day will have the opportunity to tour the Kinnick Stadium press box prior to the gates opening. This will also be the first chance for Junior Hawk members to pick up their membership packs. Gates to Kinnick Stadium will open at 11 a.m. (CT), with the team’s practice scheduled to begin at noon.
