IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Athletics Ticket Office is offering the opportunity for fans to purchase discounted football tickets to donate to active duty and military veterans, law enforcement officials, and firefighters through the “Tickets for Heroes” program.
“Tickets for Heroes” to the Hawkeyes’ home opener against Wyoming on Saturday, Sept. 2 are on sale at a discounted price of $25 (normally $45 per ticket). University of Iowa Athletics will work with local organizations to distribute tickets to qualifying individuals.
