Huang Named to U.S. Junior National Team

IOWA CITY, Iowa – Freshman men’s gymnast Bennet Huang was selected to the U.S. Men’s Junior National Team following the conclusion of the 2017 P&G Championships in Anaheim, California, on Aug. 20.
 
Huang joins 13 gymnasts from around the country to represent the United States during international competitions.
 
The Palo Alto, California, native was selected for the team based on his performance at the Men’s Junior Olympic Nationals in May. Huang won the competition with an all-around score of 85.800, including two events titles on floor (15.600) and pommel horse (14.450).
 
Huang and Team USA compete at the 2017 International Junior Competition in Yokohama, Japan, Sept. 17-18.
