IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa volleyball program is hosting clinics at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on April 13 before and after its spring scrimmage against Iowa State.
The clinics are open to any and all ranging from 1st grade – college freshman.
The clinic for grades 1-6 is from 4-5:30 p.m. (CT). Instruction will focus on the basic skills of volleyball, including passing, setting, attacking, and serving. The session will end with a six-on-six competition.
The clinic for grades 7-college freshman is from 7:30-10 p.m. This clinic will push and instruct players through advanced techniques and training. It will cover individual skill instruction and multi-skilled training. The session will end with a six-on-six competition.
