Iowa Looks to Finish Strong at Bobby Bayliss Invitational

SOUTH BEND, Indiana — Four Hawkeyes – Jason Kerst, Morgan Lohan, Oliver Okonkwo, and Nikita Snezhko competed in day two of the Bobby Bayliss Invitational at Eck Tennis Pavillion on the campus of Notre Dame University.  
 
Okonkwo picked up where he left off yesterday in his first match of the day defeating Jonathon Small of Notre Dame in straight sets (6-2, 6-2). Kerst bested Louisville’s David Mizrahi (6-3, 6-3) for his second win of the fall campaign. Snezhko bounced back to win his second match of the afternoon over Jon Meyer of Nebraska in a third set tie-break (5-7, 6-4, 10-5). Lohan dropped his two singles matches on Saturday.
 
The Hawkeyes return to action on Sunday for the final rounds of singles and doubles competition. Fans can follow Sunday’s results and updates from @iowamenstennis on Instagram and @IowaMensTennis on Twitter.
