IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Athletics Department launched an official Bowl Central website Thursday. The Hawkeye football team qualified for a 32nd bowl game in program history and 20th under head coach Kirk Ferentz with last Saturday’s 23-0 victory over Maryland.
Hawkeye fans can bookmark hawkeyesports.com/bowlcentral to stay up-to-date on information as we learn where the football team will spend the postseason.
“We encourage all fans to sign up for the Bowl Tickets and Travel Information emails located on hawkeyesports.com/bowlcentral,” said Charlie Taylor, associate athletics director, strategic communications and marketing. “As we determine official travel packages and ticket options, we will email everyone and post information to our site to help fans prepare for the postseason.”
Bowl Central will cover all Hawkeye football stories leading up to the Dec. 2 bowl announcement on ESPN. Fans are encouraged to check the site in the coming weeks for the announcement of official travel packages, ticket information, and bowl events.
