IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team has been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team, it was announced Tuesday by the CSCAA.
The Hawkeyes earned the distinction after posting a 3.23 team grade point average during the fall semester.
The awards are in recognition of teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The association honored 713 teams, representing 470 institutions.
Iowa returns to action Friday, traveling to South Bend, Indiana, for the Shamrock Invitational. Action begins at 9 a.m. (CT).
