Lizarazu Paces Hawkeyes on Day 1

PEORIA, Ariz. – Freshman Manuela Lizarazu led the University of Iowa women’s golf team through the first two rounds of the Westbrook Spring Invitational on Sunday.
 
Nebraska is in first place after carding a two-round score of 563 (-13). Mississippi State (570; -6) and Oklahoma (571; -5) are in second and third. Iowa is in 16th, with a 36-hole score of 599 (+23).
 
HAWKEYE LEADERBOARD
Freshman Manuela Lizarazu is tied for 48th with a two-round score of 147 (+3). Lizarazu finished the first round one-over-par with three birdies. She recorded one birdie in the second round, finishing two-over-par.

Sophomore Brett Permann finished the second round two-under-par with three birdies on the back nine. She is tied for 82nd with a 36-hole score of 152 (+8).
