IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa Athletics Department announced Friday that the third home football game of the season — Sept. 28 versus Middle Tennessee State — will serve as Spirit Squad Day at Kinnick Stadium.
Seventh through 12th grade dancers and cheerleaders are invited to Spirit Squad Day, where they will perform at halftime with Iowa spirit squads and the Hawkeye Marching Band.
The cost is $60 for spirit squad members, which includes game ticket, shirt, Iowa Spirit Squad calendar, meal, and photo opportunities, along with performing in Kinnick Stadium. Family and friends may purchase discounted tickets for $25 when registering participants. Coaches who bring 10 or more participants will be provided a free game ticket.
The registration deadline is Friday, August 12. Further information, including performance routine video, game day attire, and game day schedule, will be shared later this summer.
