IOWA CITY, Iowa – – Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes can experience the all-inclusive tailgate/ticket packages on an individual game basis through Hawkeye Village, the announcement was made Monday by the Iowa Athletics Department.
The Hawkeye Village has traditionally served corporate groups with an all-inclusive tailgate option at Duane Banks Field, next to Kinnick Stadium. For a second straight season, fans can experience the all-inclusive tailgate/ticket packages at any of Iowa’s seven home games.
“We opened Hawkeye Village to provide an all-inclusive option to those attending games who are looking for a fun tailgating experience with everything in one space,” said Charlie Taylor, associate athletics director of strategic marketing and communications. “Hawkeye Village’s proximity to Kinnick Stadium, with a guaranteed game ticket, food, and beverage, is a great option for fans attending as many as seven or as few as one of Iowa’s home games.”
The individual game packages include a game ticket, musical entertainment, all-you-can-eat buffet and drinks, including beer, wine, bottled water, and soft drinks. The buffet menu includes a grilled steak sandwich, Wimmer’s brats, marinated chicken breasts, white cheddar mac and cheese, and rainbow rotini salad.
Packages are on sale now. Fans can visit HawkeyeSports.com/FootballGameday to purchase Hawkeye Village ticket packages.
