Gourley Named TopDrawerSoccer 2nd-Team Fall All-American

IOWA CITY, Iowa — Incoming University of Iowa freshman Gianna Gourley has been named a TopDrawerSoccer Second-Team Fall All-American. The forward is one of four Big Ten Conference signees to earn the distinction.
 
The Las Vegas, Nevada, native scored 31 goals and had 11 assists as a senior at Bishop Gorman High School where she was named the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year. She scored a hat trick in the state championship game, leading the team to a state title and a 27-0-1 record.
 
The Hawkeyes report for fall camp on Aug. 5.  The team’s exhibition opener is at Michigan on Aug. 16.
