IOWA CITY, Iowa — After breaking into the TopDrawerSoccer.com’s national rankings Monday, the University of Iowa women’s soccer team joined another poll Tuesday.  The Hawkeyes are 19th in the United Soccer Coaches poll — the highest in program history.

Iowa finished nonconference play with an 8-0 record after posting a 3-2 road victory at Notre Dame on Sept. 15.  The Hawkeyes are undefeated in five games at home this season and unbeaten in their last 15 games (12-0-3) at the Iowa Soccer Complex dating back to last season.

The Hawkeyes are ranked No. 21 by TopDrawerSoccer.com — the highest ranking in that poll in school history.  It is the first time since the 2014 season Iowa has been ranked in either poll.

Iowa opens Big Ten play Friday, traveling to Bloomington, Indiana, for a 2 p.m. (CT) game against Indiana.
