NEW ORLEANS, La. — University of Iowa freshman Lea Zeitler led the women’s golf team to a 13th-place finish at the All State Sugar Bowl on Tuesday. Zeitler tied for eighth overall with a final score of 215 (-4).
The Hawkeyes finished the tournament with a team score of 915 (+39). No. 10 Florida won the meet with a total score of 853 (-23). No. 32 Miami finished second with a team score of 869 (-7), followed by No. 13 Michigan State with 875 (-1).

HOW IT HAPPENED
Zeitler’s final score of 215 (-4) is her collegiate-best 54 holes. She carded 13 birdies.
Freshman Jacquelyn Galloway jumped five spots on the leader board to tie for 58th place with a three-round total of 230 (+11). Galloway tallied four birdies.
Freshman Morgan Goldstein and senior Sarah Overton both tied for 74th place with a 54-hole score of 236 (+17). Goldstein jumped three places on the leader board and carded five birdies. Overton tallied one eagle and five birdies to tie her 54-hole best.
Junior Brett Permann tallied a total score of 238 (+19), tying for 79th.
