IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams have been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team, it was announced Tuesday by the CSCAA.
The Hawkeyes were one of 461 schools to receive the award for the spring semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their spring grade point averages.
GPAs were not published as institutional adjustments resulted in GPAs being nearly one-quarter letter higher than previous years.
The Iowa women have received the award 16 straight years.
