Iowa Opens Home Schedule Live on BTN

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Big Ten Network announced Friday that two University of Iowa soccer games will be televised live on BTN in 2021.

Iowa’ home opener Aug. 26 against Iowa State will kickoff BTN’s soccer coverage this season. The annual Cy-Hawk Series game begins at 6 p.m. (CT) at the Iowa Soccer Complex in Iowa City. The game is the first of 17 Big Ten soccer matches televised live on BTN or ESPNU this season.

Iowa’s road contest against Indiana on Sept. 23 will also be televised live on BTN beginning at 7 p.m.

BTN will air the Big Ten Conference tournament beginning Oct. 31 with one televised quarterfinal matchup. The semifinals will be televised Nov. 4 and the finals air Nov. 7. Iowa won the 2020 Big Ten Tournament, capturing the first Big Ten championship in program history.

The Hawkeyes open the 2021 season hosting South Dakota on Saturday at 3 p.m. in an exhibition contest. Admission to all Iowa home soccer games is free. A complete schedule is available at hawkeyesports.com.
