IOWA CITY, Iowa — The University of Iowa women’s swimming and diving team has been named a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America team, it was announced Monday by the CSCAA.
The Hawkeyes are one of 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities to earn the honor. Iowa posted a 3.23 team grade point average during the fall semester.
“(Head coach) Nathan Mundt was a great hire this year and this is just another example of why,” said Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director. “These 12 women are some of the best ambassadors that Iowa and the Big Ten Conference could ask for.”
The Hawkeyes have now earned the distinction in 18 consecutive seasons.
Iowa returns to action Friday, traveling to Minneapolis for a Big Ten Conference tri-meet against Minnesota and Northwestern.
