VERONA, Wis. – Freshman Shannyn Vogler’s even par round of 72 highlighted the University of Iowa women’s golf team’s second round at the Badger Invitational on Monday at the University of Wisconsin University Ridge Golf Course.
Vogler had two birdies over the first eight holes and finished with three during the round to finish with a career low round. The Moline, Illinois, native is tied for 14th place with a one-over par 145 (73-72) heading into Tuesday’s final round.

As a team, the Hawkeyes sit in 11th place overall after shooting a 304 on Monday. Iowa has a two-round total of 602 (298-304), which is five strokes out of 10th place and nine shots out of eighth.
Sophomore Paula Miranda is the next highest Hawkeye on the leaderboard as she is currently tied for 27th with a four-over par 148. Miranda had two birdies during Tuesday’s round.
Notre Dame leads the field with a five-under par 571. The Fighting Irish’s Montgomery Ferreira is the individual leader with a six-under par 138 after shooting a 66 on Monday.
