QUALIFYING FOR NATIONALS
The Hawkeyes will head to Indianola, Iowa, to compete for a spot at the National Collegiate Women’s Wrestling Championships in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Region five tournament will be hosted by Simpson College, and competition will start at 10 a.m. in the Cowles Fieldhouse. The top four wrestlers will qualify for the NCWWC Nationals.

UNDEFEATED DUAL SEASON
The Hawkeyes finished their inaugural season going 16-0 in dual competition. They had nine wins over NCAA ranked teams and outscored their opponents 593-108 in dual competition. They had two shutout wins over No. 11 Lindenwood and Missouri Valley College. In their final dual in Carver-Hawkeye Arena this season, they defeated NAIA National Dual Champions Life University, 35-6.
A GRAND WEEKEND
The Hawkeyes came home from the Grand View Open earlier this month with titles at 116 and 155 pounds. Senior Felicity Taylor went 4-0, downing Juliana Diaz in the finals via decision, 9-3. Sophomore Bella Mir followed going 5-0, taking the forfeit in her finals match.
