2020-21 Honors – Academic All-Big Ten. 2020-21 – Swam collegiate-best times in 200 free (1:41.55), 500 free (4:30.35) and 1,650 free (9:24.87) at Big Ten Championships… also had a career-best in 1000 breast (1:01.17) at Northwestern and a season-bests in 1,000 free (9:24.87).

2019-20 — Swam collegiate-bests in the 200 free (1:43.47) at the Big Ten Championships… had season-best times of 4:33.25 (500 free), 9:36.40 (1,000 free), and 15:37.87 (1,650 free).

2018-19 – Recorded career-bests in the 100 breast (1:00.91) at the Hawkeye Invitational, 200 free (1:45.36) at the Shamrock Invitational, 500 free (4:29.88) and 1,650 free (15:26.33) at the 2019 Big Ten Championships… moved to ninth all-time in program history in the 1,650 free… ranked second on the team in the 1,650 free and fourth in the 1,000 free (9:29.16).

2017-18 — Swam a career-best in the 1,650 free (15:33.30) at the Big Ten Championships… his 1,000 free split of 9:14.44 was a team season-best.

High School — All-American in the 500 free as a junior… Winter Nationals qualifier in 1,650 free… Winter Junior Nationals qualifier in 500 and 1,000 free… placed third in 1,500 free at 2016 NCSA Summer Championships… was ninth in 1,650 free at 2017 NCSA Spring Championships… three-time all-conference selection… finished 15th in 500 free at the California State Meet as a senior… state qualifier as a junior… was conference runner-up in 500 free as a senior; third as a junior… top times: 1,650 free (15:28.91), 1,500 free (15:53.91), 1,000 free (9:17.03), 800 free (8:20.28), and 500 free (4:31.50)… high school coach was Adam Reid.

Personal — Born in Boise, Idaho… son of Barry and Kelly Schab… has a younger sister, Jessica… majoring in art.
