Iowa City, IA – The University of Iowa field hockey team debuted at No. 9 in the firstSTX/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Coaches Poll of the season.
The Hawkeyes (2-2) have already faced the top two teams in the country, losing a 1-0 overtimecontest to No. 1 Wake Forest, then falling 3-1 to No. 2 North Carolina in their first two games ofthe season at the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.
