Madison, WI – Heavy rain throughout Friday afternoon caused officials to postponefirst round play in the 2003 Badger Invitational, hosted by the University Ridge Golf Course inMadison.
The tournament started at 1 p.m. but was halted shortly after due to the inclementweather. Play continued again at 3:40 but was suspended before dark due to more rain. Theremaining first-round holes will be finished Saturday starting at 8 a.m. The second round willcontinue as planned with a shotgun start immediately following completion of all the remainingfirst-round holes.
