LINCOLN, NE – Iowa junior Alexis Maday recorded a 9.85 to tie for fourth in theuneven bar event final of the NCAA championships Saturday evening at the Bob Devaney SportsCenter. UCLA’s Kate Richardson and Jamie Dantzscher were crowned co-champions with ascore of 9.9.
Maday finishes the season with all-American honors on uneven bars for the secondconsecutive year. She was crowned co-Big Ten champion on the event and won a total of sixtitles during the 2003 dual meet season.
