A special edition of Hawk Talk with Kirk Ferentz, the weekly radio call-in show of Iowa’s head football coach, will begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, from Carlos O’Kelly’s Mexican Cafe in Iowa City. As always, the show will be broadcast live by participating affiliates on the Hawkeye Radio Network and will be available via the world wide web at hawkeyesports.com and hawkeyefootball.com.

Hawk Talk with Kirk is scheduled for 60 minutes this Wednesday in recognition of the fact that Iowa has a “bye” on this week’s Big Ten schedule.

Host Gary Dolphin, the radio voice of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Ferentz will visit with fans of the nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes for 60 minutes this week versus the typical 90 because Iowa will not play a game this Saturday.
Hawk Talk with Kirk Ferentz will return to its regular 90-minute format next Wedednesday, Oct. 14, when Ferentz and the Hawkeyes will be making preparations for their Oct. 18 date at Ohio State.
