The Iowa women’s basketball team will treat college football fans to a little action on the hardcourt Saturday, Oct. 25, when the Hawkeyes stage their annual “Hoop It Up!” event the morning of the next home game for Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked Hawkeyes.

Fans attending the 2003 Hoop It Up! event have a chance to win tickets to this year’s Iowa-Minnesota football game scheduled for Nov. 15 inside legendary Kinnick Stadium.

Doors to Carver-Hawkeye Arena will open at 8 a.m. for the 2003 Hoop It Up! event. The annual intrasquad scrimmage will provide fans of the Hawkeyes an opportunity to secure photographs and autographs, win prizes and enjoy special halftime entertainment.
Admission is free to the 2003 Hoop It Up! event. Action will get underway at approximately 8:45 a.m. and is expected to end at approximately 10.
