That announcement means the first 10 games of the 2003 season played by Iowa will be televised live by the Big Ten Conference’s television partners. The Hawkeyes’ games Nov. 15 against Minnesota inside historic Kinnick Stadium and Nov. 22 at Wisconsin are also likely to be televised live.
The Hawkeyes entertain Illinois Saturday. That game is sold out, will kick off shortly after 11 a.m., and will be televised live by ESPN Plus. A complete list of the stations carrying the Iowa-Illinois game will be released later this week by the Big Ten.
The Iowa-Illinois game is the fourth straight home game sellout for the Iowa Hawkeyes. A limited number of game tickets remain for Iowa’s Fan Appreciation Game Nov. 15 against Minnesota.
