The Big Ten Conference announced today that the next road game for Coach Kirk Ferentz’s nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes — Saturday, Nov 8, at nationally ranked Purdue — will be televised live by ESPN beginning at 2:30 p.m. Iowa time.
Iowa will square off against Purdue on Nov. 8 at 2:30 p.m. Iowa time. The game will be televised live by ESPN.
That announcement means the first 10 games of the 2003 season played by Iowa will be televised live by the Big Ten Conference’s television partners. The Hawkeyes’ games Nov. 15 against Minnesota inside historic Kinnick Stadium and Nov. 22 at Wisconsin are also likely to be televised live.
The Hawkeyes entertain Illinois Saturday. That game is sold out, will kick off shortly after 11 a.m., and will be televised live by ESPN Plus. A complete list of the stations carrying the Iowa-Illinois game will be released later this week by the Big Ten.
The Iowa-Illinois game is the fourth straight home game sellout for the Iowa Hawkeyes. A limited number of game tickets remain for Iowa’s Fan Appreciation Game Nov. 15 against Minnesota. Fans can purchase Iowa-Minnesota tickets online at hawkeyesports.com, over the phone at 1-800 IA-HAWKS, or in person at the UI Athletic Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
