Another in the series of “Miracle” events will be staged Sunday by the UI Athletic Department with the support of UI Health Care and this one is a biggie: No. 10 Iowa versus No. 1 Wake Forest inside Grant Field on the UI campus. Match time is set for noon.
All fans attending the Miracle match Sunday will be given a gift from the Hawkeyes and Children’s Miracle Network upon arrival. They will also be eligible to win one of five pairs of tickets to the Iowa football team’s final home game of the 2003 season Saturday, Nov. 15, against Minnesota.
The Miracle event series is designed to generate awareness of Children’s Hospital at Iowa and the Children’s Miracle Network. It is a joint effort of the Iowa Hawkeyes and UI Health Care, a long-time participant in the University of Iowa’s Partners in Excellence corporate sponsorship program.
The next Miracle event will be the Iowa men’s basketball team’s game against EA Sports on Nov. 11 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
