Now that the nationally ranked Iowa football team has completed its regular season — and has moved up to No. 12 in this week’s ESPN/USA Top 25 — all that’s left is the invitation…the invitation to the third bowl game in a row for Coach Kirk Ferentz’s Hawkeyes.

Fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes who want to follow their favorite team to their post-season destination don’t need to wait to order their game tickets, however. Fans can order their tickets online today here in hawkeyesports.com by clicking on the link above.

Iowa will play its third consecutive bowl game under Coach Kirk Ferentz in the coming weeks — and some think it could be either the Capital One or Outback bowls in Florida.

Available within the UI Athletic Department’s online ticket office is an online order form for all bowl games the Hawkeyes could be invited to. Fans can place orders for one, two, three or more games — the UI Athletic Department will wait until the Hawkeyes are invited to a bowl game before filling your ticket requets and charging your credit card.

Or, fans can elect to print a copy of the application, complete it at home, and either mail, deliver or FAX the application to the Athletic Ticket Office.

So, if you’re thinking of following the Hawkeyes to this year’s bowl site, you don’t have to wait to get your tickets. Click on the link above and check out all the details and ticket options.

Iowa moved up five places in this week’s ESPN/USA Top 25 to No. 12 with its victory at Wisconsin. The Hawkeyes rank third among Big Ten Conference teams — Michigan came in at No. 4, Ohio State No. 7, Purdue No. 13 and Minnesota No. 22.

Oklahoma, Southern Cal and LSU are Nos. 1-2-3, respectively.
