The Iowa women’s tennis team lost to No. 54 Ohio State, 5-2, Friday afternoon. The Hawkeyes drop to 11-8 overall, 4-5 in the Big Ten.
At the No. 1 singles spot, Meg Racette defeated Lindsay Williams, 6-3, 3-6, 6-2. Hillary Mintz emerged victorious at the No. 2 singles spot, winning against Erica Fisk, 6-3, 4-6, 1-0 (1). In doubles, the duo of Deni Alexandrova and Anastasia Zhukova topped Meaghan Colville and Lindsay Williams, 9-7.
The Hawkeyes will compete next when they travel to Penn State Sunday.
