The University of Iowa men’s golf team shot a final round 311 to place 14th at the First Energy Intercollegiate. Xavier edged out Toledo by two strokes to capture the victory.
Cade Pleggenkuhle was Iowa’s top finisher tying for 17th. Pleggenkuhle’s final round 75 gave him his lowest three-round total of the year, 218. Freshman Jon Feldick carded a 77 today to move him into a tie for 58th. Andy Tiedt finished in a tie for 62nd with a total of 231. Brian deBuhr finished his first tournament of the spring tied for 64th. Erik Feldick tied for 91st with 240.
The Hawkeyes travel to East Lansing, MI next weekend for the Bruce Fossum Invitational hosted by Michigan State.
