Iowa City – Season tickets for the upcoming men’s basketball season at the University of Iowa are now on sale, according to David Sandstrum, athletic ticket manager.
Tickets are available for previous season ticket holders, general public and faculty/staff (full season and split). Student tickets will be available Monday, August 2. Previous season ticket holders will receive a hard copy notice in the mail.
Iowa’s 2004-05 home schedule includes 18 contests, which includes two exhibition games and 16 regular season games. The 2003-04 home schedule included 16 events. The eight-game non-conference schedule includes dates with Western Illinois, Northern Iowa, Iowa State, Western Carolina, Air Force and Saint Louis. The Gazette-Hawkeye Challenge includes Centenary, North Carolina-Greensboro and Southern Mississippi.
The single game ticket price, $26, remains the same as last season. With two added events, the cost of a season ticket is $408 for the general public. Full season faculty/staff tickets are $340 and faculty/staff split tickets are $170.
Fans may re-new or purchase their season tickets online at hawkeyesports.com, by calling the athletic ticket office at 1-800-IA-Hawks or 319-335-9323 or in person at the ticket office, located at the north entrance to Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Single game tickets, along with a number of partial season ticket plans, will go on sale once the Big Ten portion of the 2004-05 schedule has been finalized.
