The UI Athletic Department has suspended sales of single-game tickets to the nationally ranked Iowa Hawkeyes’ home game Nov. 6 against Purdue in historic Kinnick Stadium, UI Assistant Athletic Director David Sandstrum announced today. Sandstrum said the UI will continue to sell a limited number of four-game season ticket packages and that a limited number of tickets remain for Iowa’s “Throwback Game” against Kent State on Sept. 4 and the Hawkeyes’ finale home game of the season, a Nov. 20 date with the Badgers of Wisconsin.

A limited number of single-game tickets remain available for Iowa’s season-opening “ThrowbackGame” Sept. 4 against Kent State and the season finale against Wisconsin on Nov. 20.

The four-game season ticket includes both of the aforementioned games plus tickets to Iowa’s Oct. 2 Homecoming game against Michigan State and the Iowa-Purdue game. Sandstrum said Iowa-Purdue tickets will go back on sale Tuesday, Sept. 7, if there are tickets to sell. “We’re now moving into our busiest time of the year with respect to sales of student season tickets. The status of single-game tickets is directly related to the pace of sales of four-game season ticket packages and student season tickets,” Sandstrum said. The UI announced earlier in the week that the Hawkeyes’ home games against Iowa State and Ohio State are sold out.
