Big Ten Men's Basketball Team Posts 3-2 Record

Iowa Sophomore Adam Haluska averaged in double figures as the Big Ten Conference Foreign Tour Team concluded its tour with a 3-2 record.

In the final two games, the Big Ten squad lost Wednesday to UCC Assigelo 95-93, when the home team hit a three-point shot with one second left in the game. In the final game of the tour, the Big Ten team was defeated 80-74 by the Cremona Basketball Club Thursday. The final two games of the tour were played in Italy.

Haluska had six points in each of the final two games and added six rebounds in the two point loss on Wednesday. In the five games the Carroll, IA native averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds.

The Big Ten team was coached by Kurt Kanaskie, the former Drake University head coach who is now an assistant coach at Penn State.
