The deadline for general public and University of Iowa student orders for men’s basketball tickets is Friday, Oct. 1.
General public tickets for the 18 home events are $408 and must be ordered by Friday to maintain your seating priority. The schedule includes 16 regular season home games, including both nights of the Gazette Hawkeye Challenge, and the two pre-season exhibition games.
UI student tickets are $204 for all 18 home events, or students may purchase a 13-game partial season ticket for $144 that does not include the five games over the holiday break. Iowa students who wish to charge their season tickets to their U-bill must order by Friday, Oct. 1.
All UI students who purchase either of the ticket options this season are included in the Hawk’s Nest student cheering section and will receive a free Nike basketball shirt with their order. In previous years, members of the Hawk’s Nest were charged an additional fee.
All tickets are available online at hawkeyesports.com, at the UI Athletics Ticket Office in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, or by calling 1-800-IA-HAWKS.
Iowa’s non-conference home schedule includes dates with Western Illinois, Northern Iowa, Iowa State, Western Carolina, Air Force and Saint Louis. Iowa will meet Centenary in the first round of the Gazette Hawkeye Challenge, while Southern Mississippi and North Carolina-Greensboro are also in the field.
Iowa’s two exhibition games are against Upper Iowa and Laval University from Canada. Big Ten teams who visit Carver-Hawkeye Arena include Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Ohio State and Purdue.
Coach Steve Alford’s 2004-05 squad includes three returning starters and six lettermen from the team that placed fourth in the Big Ten Conference a year ago while posting a 16-13 overall record.
