Heck, fans of the Hawkeyes haven’t even finished celebrating Iowa’s 2004 season and its thrilling victory over LSU in the 2005 Capital One Bowl on New Year’s Day in Orlando.
However, if you are interested in looking ahead, take a peek at what ESPN thinks of the future for Coach Kirk Ferentz and his 2005 Iowa Hawkeyes.
And, for the record, here’s the Hawkeyes’ 2005 schedule. Iowa drops Michigan State and Penn State from its schedule and picks up the Indiana Hoosiers and Northwestern Wildcats. Kickoff for Iowa’s season opener against Ball State is tentatively set for 1 p.m. inside historic Kinnick Stadium.
And – one final reminder for those who just don’t want to let go – Iowa’s Instant Classic against LSU will be broadcast on ESPN Classic at 7 p.m. (Iowa time) Friday.
