Iowa’s October 8th football game against Purdue has already been picked for nationwide television. The announcement came today, jointly, from ESPN and the Big Ten office.
The Hawkeyes and Boilermakers will square off at West Lafayette, in a game to be televised on ESPN. Kickoff is slated for 3:35 p.m. (CDT). Iowa appeared on ESPN three times last year (Purdue, Minnesota and Wisconsin).
All 12 of Iowa’s games were televised last year. The Hawkeyes have been on television 40 straight games. The last Iowa game not to be televised was against Minnesota on Nov. 17, 2001.
