IOWA CITY, IA – University of Iowa senior diver Nancilea Underwood is one of two Americans to be invited to the FINA Grand Prix Superfinal, which will be held June 25-26 in Veracruz, Mexico. She will compete in the three-meter diving event. University of Iowa Diving Coach Bob Rydze will coach the two Americans at the meet.
Only the world’s top eight divers, ranked by FINA, in each event are invited to compete. The other competitor from the United States is recent high school-graduate Brittany Viola, who will be competing in the tower event.
