INDIANAPOLIS, IN – University of Iowa senior-to-be diver Nancilea Underwood has been named to the 11th FINA World Championships roster by USA Diving. The Championships will be held July 17-24 in Montreal, Canada.
The divers were selected from two camps held in Indianapolis, IN. Past performances, degree of difficulty attainment and emerging talent were considered. Athletes performed a series of dives for the International Team Selectors, who used the above mentioned information to name the team.
The All-American has won three bronze medals at FINA Grand Prix events this year and also placed second on the 3-meter and third on the 1-meter at this years NCAA Championships.
