ST. LOUIS — The Iowa Men’s Golf team finished the final day of competition at the Missouri Bluffs Intercollegiate in fifth place. Today in the final round they carded a team score of 289 which moved them from seventh to fifth place overall for the tournament. The Hawkeyes finished the tournament at the par-71 Missouri Bluffs Golf Club shooting +11 as a team and carding a three-round score of 863. Iowa has placed in the top-five in all four of its tournaments this season.
Freshman Cole Peevler (-1, T9th) led Iowa for the third straight tournament and collected his third top 10 and fourth top 20. Jon Feldick (+1, T14th) was not far behind finishing tied for 14th. Brian deBuhr (+9, T50th), Andy Tiedt (+12, T62nd) and Todd Larson (+14, T69th) also competed for Iowa.
The Hawkeyes will next compete on October 24, at the Big Four Championship in Cedar Rapids, IA.
