IOWA CITY — University of Iowa diver Nancilea Underwood earned her second consecutive and fourth career Big Ten Women’s Diver of the Week award today. The senior from Spring, TX, won the one-meter (300.90) and the three-meter (365.78) in Iowa’s dual meet with Minnesota last week. The Hawkeyes fell to the Golden Gophers 131-169. Underwood’s score in the three-meter broke her own school and pool record, by 17.53 points.
Underwood and the Hawkeyes will travel to Kansas in a women’s team dual and a co-ed meet with Missouri State. Action is scheduled for Friday, November 4th at the Robinson Natatorium in Lawrence. Meet time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
