Schnepf Is An All-American

Heather Schnepf can add one more post-season award to her collection. Today Schnepf has been selected to the 2005 Dartfish/NFHCA All-American Second Team.

The 5’1″ junior midfielder from Medford Lakes, NJ, was a defensive standout this season for the Hawkeyes. Schnepf was tops on the team with five defensive saves. She was also first in the Big Ten with 0.31 defensive saves per game which earned her the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year award. Schnepf was a first team all-conference selection, a 2005 Dartfish/NFHCA all-Region first team pick, and a first team all-American according to womensfieldhockey.com.
