LAS VEGAS, NV —
Three members of the University of Iowa men’s gymnastics team competed in the Winter Cup Challenge on Thursday. Michael Reavis and Curtis Kleffman competed in the all-around. Jacques Bouchard competed on still rings.
Reavis finished in second with a score of 89.950. Reavis placed first in floor exercise with a score of 15.200 and second on parallel bars (14.250). Kleffman placed 10th in the all-around, scoring a total of 81.900. On rings, Bouchard came in a tie for ninth with a 13.900.
The new FIG scoring guide is being used at the Winter Cup Challenge.
Finals will begin at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
