The No. 47 Iowa women’s tennis team defeated Dartmouth today, 5-2 in Minneapolis. Iowa won all three doubles matches and four of six singles matches.
#21 Meg Racette defeated Lindsay Winingham, 6-2, 6-1 at the number one singles position. At the number two singles position, Hillary Mintz defeated Megan Zebroski, 6-3, 6-3. #93 Milica Veselinovic defeated Maggie Suydam, 6-1, 6-0, at the number three singles position, and Jacqueline Lee defeated Kerry Snow, 6-3, 6-2 at the number four singles position.
In doubles competition, Racette/Lee defeated Winingham/Zebrowski, 8-2, Mintz/Veselinovic defeated Jaxheimer/Scott, 8-3, and Berry/Dowlin defeated Snow/Suydam, 8-3.
Iowa will travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, Friday, February 25th to compete against Missouri.
