HILTON HEAD, SC – For the first time this season the Iowa Men’s Golf team failed to place in the top five. The Hawkeyes finished final round of the Wexford Plantation Intercollegiate in 14th place. The course was an extremely difficult for all golfers. Only one golfer in the entire field finished par or better for the tournament.
Senior Andy Tiedt (+18, T38) led Iowa and finished in a tie for 38th place. Other golfers Jon Feldick (+19, T46), Todd Larson (+24, T58), Cole Peevler (+27, T64) and Bennett Hammerberg (+65, T65) also competed for the Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes will hit the links next at the USA Spring Classic on March 13.
